James Lipscomb, stands in front of the Central Lutheran Church in Downtown Minneapolis. Lispcomb was an editor and art manager of Augsburg Fortress, the official publishing house of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, for 33 years until he was laid off at the end of 2008. Through a loophole granted to organizations affiliated with churches he saw his pension cut by more than 30%.
